Fleece Vest Reflective Colors

Fleece vests provide warmth when people are working outside in cold environments, as they effectively contain warmth in the core of the body. Many people who are working outside by roadways or are part of rescue crews will wear fleece vests with reflective colors and tapes on them so that they can be seen at night in cold environments. These fleece vests come in a number of different reflective colors.

Yellow Vests

Yellow is one of the most reflective colors that people can wear, reflecting any available light back at people who are looking in their direction. Many of these yellow fleece vests are used by city and state road crews to keep them both warm and safe when they are doing their work late at night. These vests also have strips of reflective tape across the front and back of them, running perpendicular to each other.

Orange Vests

Bright orange is another very reflective color, as well as one which stands out from just about everything else as it doesn't occur naturally very often. Hunters most often wear these reflective orange fleece vests to keep themselves warm while trekking through the woods during the fall and winter hunting season, as well as allowing them to stand out from the snow and woods so that they are not accidentally shot by other hunters. Some of these orange fleece vests have reflective tape on their front and back so that others can see them at night.

Neon Color Vests

Neon colors, ranging from hot pink to light blue to a bright lime green, are often worn as reflective fleece vests by rescue workers and rescue dogs alike so that they can be easily picked out of a destroyed area or from the wilderness where a rescue operation is going on. On top of these bright colors, these vests feature reflective tape so that both rescuers and rescue dogs are visible at night and so that no one else gets lost during a rescue operation.
